A great restaurant with excellent choice of meals for everyone.

Not very welcoming when we arrived. Long wait for food to arrive, few tables that arrived after us were served before us. I had the Steak pie, although would nit call it a pie, more a bowl of stew with a circle of very thin flaky pastry on top. Not enough chips for 2 people, and the meals did not come with any vegetables. The steak was not the best quality, had far better a few days previously in local pub. Very overpriced for what you get.

Personally not keen on ordering at food counter...it makes explanation of allergens difficult and holds up the queue. Plenty of staff but they didn't quite get service right when some of group are having different number of courses, and bar staff not co-ordinated with waitress. Having said that, the seats overlooking balcony are delightful and trout was beautifully cooked. I think it is a good choice for small group parties as spacious.

Amazing lunch today. Service was quick, meals were hot and plentiful. Only complaint is that the staff appeared to seem like they would rather be somewhere else. No smiles, no interaction and one bar person appeared to be quite impatient with my elderly mum. But the owner was amazing and appeared to care about his clientele. Overall a lovely experience, apart from the staff appearing to be so miserable.

Excellent food and customer service. My only disappointment was, when ordering a main, it doesn't come with vegetables. These have to be ordered separately. However, the choice of mains was very impressive. I had Venison, and it was cooked perfectly for me. It's not cheap, but the quality is excellent. Parking: Plenty of parking at the back.

Brilliant local restaurant, quality meat & fish counter. Service very personable as always. Great wine list.

I visited the Miskin Arms with my friend on Monday, and the food was delicious. Great value, service, and quality produce. Highly recommend this place. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Gorgeous meal as usual. Tuna steak with lemon butter … what’s not to like? Good wine list, attentive service, and a warm welcome. Great place for a family catch up

We hosted our Mum & Dad's 60th Wedding Anniversary Celebrations at the Miskin Arms. There was 20 of us so they gave us their private dining room which made our celebration 🍾 very special. The service from the staff was outstanding and the food was to die for. Thank you so much Miskin Arms for helping us make memories to cherish forever.

We were attending a wedding at the Castle and popped in for dinner. Lovely place, staff friendly and so nice that you can pick what you want to eat and it's all cooked fresh. Atmosphere was nice and went above and beyond. Will definitely come back.
